RSGB AFS 433mhz

IOMARS members took place in the RSGB AFS contest and secured 6th place out of a total of 56 team entries – good work and thanks to all who took part.

There are many new features over the stock firmware. Which has improved greatly. The main one for me is the fact that I can now reduce the brightness of the display.

Make sure you read the instructions carefully. Mistakes will stop the radio working.

The RSGB 70cm AFS contest runs between 09:00 and 13:00 hours GMT on Sunday 4th February 2018.

Well the 2017 AGM has been and gone, a well attended evening given the inclement weather.

Dave Williamson and Hadyn Glaister decided to stand down,  thanks for your time and efforts gents. The new committee are listed on the front page of this blog.

So what’s next?

A club meet is at Ballasalla on Wednesday 20th December 2017 from 7pm.

Annual membership fees are now due. Please get them to the treasurer (me) either via the postal service, personally at a club meeting or via another member.
