A recent member consultation re the annual rental of the club shack in Ballasalla resulted in only positive responses.
The committee are now pleased to advise everyone that the IOMARS club shack will continue to be at Mill Road, Ballasalla until further notice.

Due to the difficulties of travel over the TT period we have decided not to hold club evening meetings at the shack in Ballasalla . Back again straight after TT 2018.
Manx repeater supporters…..
Just to keep you all updated, I have today paid the annual insurance premium of £70 for the seven Manx repeaters namely GB3GD, GB3IM-C, GB3IM-R, GB3IM-S, GB3IM-P, GB7CA, GB7BR.
This insurance is primarily for 3rd party risks.
This is one of the ways the IOMARS support our repeater keeper David Osborn GD4HOZ.

There are many new features over the stock firmware. Which has improved greatly. The main one for me is the fact that I can now reduce the brightness of the display.
Make sure you read the instructions carefully. Mistakes will stop the radio working.
The RSGB 70cm AFS contest runs between 09:00 and 13:00 hours GMT on Sunday 4th February 2018.

Your IOMARS membership for 2017 has expired.
In 2018 the society will move forward in our new shack in Ballasalla.
If you intend to renew your membership this year please forward an application form to any committee member for forwarding to the treasurer.
